Here at Alpine Angels, from the very beginning we have wanted to develop a personalised childcare service that our guests come back to year after year! The logistics of a ski holiday with children, be it your first or not, can feel complicated and throw up multiple questions. How old do they need to be to ski? What if I book childcare but they don’t settle? Who’s going to pick them up from ski school when they finish at lunchtime? What if I want to après the evening away at Mooserwirt?! Are they
too young to even consider a ski holiday. You get the idea… and here is why you should book with Alpine Angels Childcare if you want that peace of mind and a stress free getaway.

Excellent nannies

Our nannies must have considerable childcare experience before they come to work with Alpine Angels. We take this very seriously as we understand that parents are leaving their children with someone they are not familiar with. We want Kaluma guests to feel confident with their allocated nanny from before they have even met them in resort. This is why contact details are provided to parents prior to commencement of their booking in order that they can make contact with their nanny, ask any questions or just have a general chat about their upcoming holiday. All the nannies we work with have first aid, criminal record and reference checks. You can view their profiles on our website along with their references and a little information about them. We have primary school teachers & nurses, as well as nannies with special needs experience!

Toys & Equipment provided

Our main aim is to ensure that all the children we care for in resort have a fantastic holiday and go home with amazing memories to share! We can do many indoor and outdoor activities with children away from their accommodation including sledging, building snowmen, gondola rides, bowling, trampolining, the list is endless! But at some points throughout the day it’s good to spend some quieter time in the cosy surrounds of your Kaluma chalet. For these times Alpine Angels provide fun indoor activities and games including arts and crafts, board games, books, dressing up and lots more.
This coming season we have also launched our new equipment hire service with lots of equipment provided free or discounted for guests with full time bookings. Take a look at what have here and let us know if there is any equipment you would like to reserve alongside your childcare booking.

In resort management welcome service

For all our full-time bookings we provide an in-resort management welcome service to ensure you have met and know your additional point of contact, alongside your nanny, for any questions or concerns throughout your booking. We contact you a couple of weeks prior to your booking to go through some questions and information to ensure the smooth running of your booking. At this time, we will also enquire as to your arrival time at your Kaluma chalet and when is most convenient for us to meet you. At this time we will also drop off toys, books and any equipment for the children. This is the time where we ensure we have all the important information including emergency contact numbers, allergies and medications for each child – all ready for your nanny to refer to when they arrive.

Flexible service

Here at Alpine Angels we really try to work with the parents and Kaluma to put together a childcare package that suits their holiday plans, but we appreciate that with children things often change. That’s why with our full-time bookings (and we try our absolute best with our part time guests also) we offer flexibility in changing hours around to suit your needs. Fancy a later start and finish on a couple of days? There’s powder the next day and you want to hit first lifts? Not a problem, Just let us know when you book or if you change your mind throughout your booking just discuss with your nanny. Babysitting can also be arranged to allow for planned or impromptu evenings out.
