Kaluma Travel was born from the desire to centre luxury ski holidays around the guests enjoyment and to take customer care and the personal touch back to its roots. The result was a ski tour operator formed in 2004, by Richard and Andy, both of whom have previously managed other high-end operators.
We are an experienced and professional alpine specialist, dedicated to sourcing the finest luxury properties. As an owner-managed company we have built up a loyal following of clients who appreciate our unique in-resort concierge service. Our company directors, Andy and Richard, have both been lucky enough to live in the Alps for the last 10 years and as a result are both true specialists in the regions of St Anton & Courchevel.
The resorts have become their homes, and the locals friends, giving us unrivalled access to all these fabulous resorts have to offer.
The Kaluma Story
A new, exciting, all inclusive, high level or personal service ski tour operator was discussed. Focussing on how we could provide a service that really made a difference to our guests.
Kaluma Travel was born and we launched our first chalet in Courchevel 1850: we had 1 chef, 2 hosts and Richard our Director in resort.
We ran a successful, mainly corporate business in The Arlberg, working closely with partner hotels for 3 seasons.
2008 – 14
Kaluma grew and grew adding new chalets to our portfolio , new resorts, destinations and experiences. We try, all the time, to stay ahead of the curve and offer new and exciting hotels, chalets and ski experiences.
2014 – 2018
Going into our 16th year as a ski tour operator and we are redeveloping and launching another new luxury chalet in St Anton, Chalet 47. We now employ over 45 people in the Alps and 4 fantastic full time sales, holiday planners, recruitment and operations and all round stars to help us run the company.
