Skiing with a family, especially for the first time, can be a daunting task. Have you been put off by bad press and groups of friends that have insinuated it’s NOT a good idea?
At Kaluma we believe skiing as a family is probably the most magical way to make memories and pride ourselves on the fact that, as a company, we will do our best to ensure that you have the best holiday with as much ease and fun as possible. As parents ourselves, we appreciate the hardships, the struggle but would hate it to be a deterrent to making magical family skiing memories.

The Ski Schools in St Anton, The Arlberg Ski School, is one of the most respected in the Alps, with an incredible childrens ski club as well as a ski kindergarten. For private lessons St Anton Classic offer local instructors who specialize in children to get the best out of their lessons and have the most fun.
In Courchevel we work with ESF1650 where children are a priority and their reputation proceeds them with their prestigious children’s race ski club.
Resort Activities
The resorts themselves are also becoming more and more family friendly. With small soft play centers, sports centers for bowling and other games and activities. Climbing walls and great big aqua centers with indoor and outdoor pools as well as children’s play areas.
The shops themselves in these small resorts have evolved somewhat in the past 10 years and the general supermarkets also cater for babies and smaller children’s needs.
Nothing is insurmountable or too much trouble on a family ski holiday.
