Good to Know

Set in a quiet location in St Anton with the best views in resort, the Tannenhof cleverly combines a relaxed ambience with an extremely high level of service and delicious culinary delights.
The Best … taking on an exclusive basis. With large immaculate suites and a homely feel, this is a place to simply indulge and settle in to the comfort of your surroundings.

The Hotel

The epitome of private luxury in the Arlberg, the Hotel Tannenhof sleeps 16 guests in 7 discerningly comfortable suites, all with beautiful balconies and mountain views.

The feel of the hotel is that no expense has been spared with the quality finishings shining through in all aspects – from the immaculate accommodation to the beautifully serene spa, fun garden sauna and outdoor hot tub, and decadent billiard room with an extensive cigar menu and roaring fire.

Designed in a contemporary Alpine style, with a nod to blending itself in with the natural mountain light and surroundings, guests are looked after by a team of 25 highly professional staff and dogs. Yes, dogs. The dogs at the Tannenhof are part of the family and play an important role in creating a home-from-home feel.

The service here is relaxed and exceptionally flexible. Breakfast is served at a time that suits you, at your table, with the breakfast buffet coming to you. Lunch (for those on full board) is included, again, at a time that suits you and with a menu of your choice.

Dinner (again for those on the full-board option or for those booking into the sumptuous dining room) is either a 7 course dinner taster menu or a 4 course dinner from the renowned chef Gustav Jantscher. Jantscher, along with his team (including his son) cooks with locally sourced ingredients, often including produce from his small farm where he spends the summers smoking, curing, and preserving the natural delicacies.

Book in here either on a room by room basis or take exclusive use of the hotel for the ultimate mountain experience.

The Resort

Aside from being a stunning picturesque and traditional alpine town for “real skiers” there are some truly stunning luxury ski chalets in St Anton as well as a great selection of luxury hotels

Professional skiers and boarders from around the world also flock here to enjoy the diverse terrain and endless off piste that have made this resort so very special. A unique blend of blues to blacks, from groomed piste to untracked powder, makes this resort perfect for every level of skier.

Andy, our Director has lived in the resort for nearly 20 years and the relatively new “Run of Fame” ski experience takes you from St Anton – Stuben – Zurs – Lech and back again.

Providing a great day of skiing for intermediate – advanced skiers. Or when the snow is fresh allow us to hand pick you an off piste guide to enjoy the “Arlberg Classic” off piste routes. Also, the back of Valluga – Zurs, the trek into Hinter Rendl and the Malfont Valley are ski days you will reminisce about for years to follow.

Keeping its historic tradition and charm, the town has managed to slip seamlessly into a more modern and sophisticated resort. As a result the resort caters not only for the dedicated skier but also those discerning skiers who appreciate the finer things in life.

Slope side bars and terraces bustle with sun worshippers and après ski revelers – après ski at either the Mooserwirt or Krazy Kanguruh is a must for every visitor. The late evening, moonlit home run can prove quite a surreal experience!

The main street offers a range of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques to keep everyone happy. For example a long, late lunch on the Hospiz Alm balcony on a sunny afternoon will be a memory you will never forget, especially following the tour of the world’s biggest big bottled wine cellar.

In addition a fine dining dinner in the Bistro or Hazienda where they take gourmet food to a new level is not to be missed.
