We have begun taking enquiries and we are already confirming bookings for next winter. There is a lot of positivity for future travel and the expectation is that the next winter season 21/22, will be a very busy one.
As well as taking bookings, we are also being asked lots of questions. Here are some of the more prominent and important questions we have been asked:
Are you open and taking bookings for winter 21/22?
Yes we are – the office has remained open throughout the pandemic to support our guests, answer questions and work on getting you back on the slopes next year.

Is now a good time to book, or should we be waiting until this pandemic is over?
With many bookings from March and April 2020, and indeed subsequent bookings from the season of 20/21 being rolled forward to winter 21/22, the peak weeks at the most popular chalets are fast being booked up. Furthermore, many chalet operators and specialist travel companies have now closed (perhaps permanently), resulting in far fewer chalets being available to rent. It is perhaps more important than ever to book early if you want to secure an excellently located chalet of the perfect certain size, staffed with eager and professional staff to service your every need.
Now is potentially the best time to lock in the best rates. The closer to the season we get ,and with limited supply on the rental market, prices are likely to go up! It’s never too early to book your ideal holiday and give yourself something to look forward to. Our revised terms and conditions acknowledge the uncertainty and protect your deposits.

What trends are you currently seeing in your enquiries and requests?
It’s a mixed bag at the moment. The lockdowns across the world are definitely dissuading people from booking imminent travel. Speaking with many of our past guest and new prospective guests, we expect there to be a rush of bookings when we know that resorts are opening and when travel restrictions are lifted.
We are receiving more and more requests for larger groups of 15+ people. Families and groups of friends want to be together, to reunite, celebrate and to simply enjoy each other’s company in a beautiful setting – a private chalet is the perfect place.
We are also, very encouragingly receiving many requests from companies wanting to reintroduce a ski trip to their entertaining budgets or team building events. Skiing has always been a very popular way to entertain guests, to build camaraderie, to cement teamwork and build loyalty. Larger, private luxurious chalets will never be more in demand.

What are your expectations of the next winter season?
The news is slowly turning positive. Vaccine roll outs, quarantines and lockdowns are seemingly having the required effect in most places around the world. Travel is expected to be restored to closer to normal by next winter, maybe with new rules and regs pertaining to safe travel…who knows? Everyone within the ski industry is expecting a big bounce back with businesses rebuilding and for people to be spending money and doing what they love. Travel and ski is certainly top of many peoples list.
You can expect to be welcomed and treated better than ever before as your hosts will be so appreciative of your bookings, you could well make friends for life!

How are we protected?
We currently have no idea what the rules on travel will be by December 2021. We very much expect that most restrictions will be lifted and expect to be operating “as normal”.
Whether that new normal involves airport testing, wearing of masks and negative tests, vaccine passports for entry we simply (sadly) cannot predict the future.
All our chalets will adhere to whatever the rules and regulations are on health and safety, particularly in relation to Covid.
You should of course (always) make sure you are comprehensively insured before any travel.
Your money will also be protected. Our Covid clauses will continue through next season – meaning that if you are advised against all but essential travel, or the resort does not open for example, then you will have your holiday fully rolled over to later in the season or the following season or indeed, where and when appropriate, a refund.
If we can help with anything relating to winter holidays , please do not hesitate to call.
When you are ready to ski, we are ready to help.
Kind regards
Andy & Richard
