With travel slowly returning to “normal”, with countries opening their boarders and welcoming the tourists, travel has suddenly become more appealing and more realistic. Weeks (not months) ago no one had planned on any summer travel. Now summer plans and importantly for us, winter plans are being confirmed.

We are already seeing a boost in confidence amongst our regular guests and are now taking requests and answering questions as best we can about the “new normal”.

What precautions are being put in place to protect against Covid?

We don’t have a magic formula. However we have a desire to do the right thing. To comply with the latest regulations and to abide by the rules relating to safety in the hospitality, catering and tourism sectors. We will provide our guests with the latest health and safety procedures, we will use the recommended cleaning materials and maintain our impeccable high standards. What these procedures, rules and materials will be in 6 months time, is anyones best guess… but we can assure you we will be real, prepared and excited about opening our doors again.

Kaluma will maintain our (socially distanced) personal touch where ever we can. We will remain as flexible as we can and we will ask you, our guests, what you want and expect from your next holiday. We will then endeavour, as always, to exceed those expectations.

Whether you want a “home from home” where you can work and play for a month, in your own private isolation , or you want a chalet to invite family and close friends to come and ski for different weeks through the season. We do specialise in winter rentals, however, should you wish for a complete summer isolation get-a-way, why not rent a private, standalone chalet in the beautiful Austrian Alps, exclusively for you, your immediate friends and family. Experience the peace, the isolation, the tranquillity on a stunning hike or e-bike ride through the mountain trails. Swim alone in remote, beautiful mountain lakes.
